Research interests:

I am interested in phylogenetics, phylogeography, and biogeography of the Campanuloideae, especially eastern Mediterranean endemics.  I am currently working on a small clade of rare, enedmic taxa distributed in the Mediterranean called the Roucela complex, with many species restricted to a single or a few islands in the Aegen archipelago. I utilize molecular techniques to investigating the evolutionary history of this
group at multiple levels – from species level relationships to population level processes.
